Case Studies

A total of 535 restorations, including single-unit crowns, 3-unit bridges, inlays and onlays, were fabricated from IOS FastScan® digital impressions during a two-year clinical study.

Restorations fabricated from the IOS FastScan Digital Impression System exhibited a seating success rate and accuracy of fit equivalent to conventional impressions, which were used as a control.

No need for framework try in, for fixed bridge work. Since there are no die's, no moving parts, no "on" and "off" model abrasion, the computer can design a more accurate, well fitting restoration. The days of fighting to get a bridge seated even after a frame try in are gone! Clinical dentistry courtesy of Dr. Dean Saiki, Oceanside, Calif.
