Dennis has 31 years of executive management and chief engineer design experience in medical instrumentation, signal processing, and sensor technology. Prior to the founding of IOS Technologies, Dennis was a co-founder of Sonaray where he served as VP of Product Development. Earlier in his career, he was a co-founder of Accumetrics where he developed the patented technology that formed the basis of the Ultregra System - the first FDA approved point-of-care platelet function test. He was a co-founder and served as VP of Engineering at Bio-Dynamics, Inc. Dennis has designed and put into market products ranging from the Beckman Instruments TL-100 Ultra-Centrifuge, Protocol Systems ProPaq® patient monitors, a closed-looped drug delivery system (GenESA) for pharmacological induced cardiac stress tests, the Spectra Physics SP2000 handheld laser scanning system, and the ASP acoustic signal processing system of Bio-Dynamics. He holds a B.S. in Physical Science from California State University at Humboldt, a BSEE from California State University at Fullerton, and an MSEE from Santa Clara University. |
