IOS Technologies, Inc. was founded in early 2007 with the objective of bringing it's proprietary intra-oral scanning and digital impression technology to market.

Led by a team of proven business leaders and staffed by veteran product development engineers and scientists,  IOS Technologies is currently in final development of its IOS FastScan™ Digital Impression and Modeling System.  Designed to be surprisingly affordable, the IOS FastScan™ System is an innovative process that eliminates unnecessary steps and replaces many of the manual processes associated with today's restorative dental procedures.

The Company owns eight issued US patents covering the core aspects of the IOS FastScan™ technology, and has additional US and foreign patents pending.

Duane M. Durbin, President

Mr. Durbin is a seasoned executive with over 10 years of experience in the dental industry. His expertise includes operations management, business development, and engineering management in organizations focused on high technology products for the electronics and medical device industries. Prior to the founding of IOS Technologies, Duane served as President and CEO at the dental device company Sonaray where he was responsible for the strategic planning and business operations. Duane also served as the Vice President of Operations, at the medical device company Accumetrics, where his responsibilities included manufacturing, production planning, purchasing, warehousing, information systems, process development & validation, facilities, security, and product distribution functions.  He served as CFO at Accumetrics for the first two years of operations.

In his former position at TRW, Duane served as the Program Manager for a large full-scale development program and was responsible for all of the contractual, financial, and engineering aspects of TRW’s contract on a $160M Air Force program that successfully developed the most accurate inertial guidance system in the world.  Duane also served with Hughes Aircraft and General Dynamics in a number of increasingly responsible positions where he both managed and contributed technically to a variety of research and product development programs. He holds a BSEE from California State University at Fullerton, a MSEE from West Coast University, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  Duane serves on the Company’s Board of Directors and is responsible for the strategic planning and business operations of the Company.
