The IOS FastScan® Digital Impression System uses "wizards" based software to help guide you through the steps required to capture a digital impression. IOS FastScan system software contains a sophisticated motion-detection system that identifies and eliminates motion artifacts from each scan.
The advanced system technology will notify you if the scan is not optimal. A positive 3-D model of each impression will be displayed chairside, so that you can confirm you have prepared the tooth as intended and the preparation margins have been accurately captured in the digital impression.
An intuitive case management interface is provided for setting up new cases and managing your patient impression data. The built-in digital Rx interface allows you to quickly specify the prescription for each case, review and approve the prescription, and electronically forward it to the dental lab. The lab then sends a case receipt acknowledgement message, confirming your case "arrived" at the lab. |
IOS FastScan utilizes touchscreen display technology, eliminating the space needed for a keyboard and mouse.
